ABOUT SANTA’S SECRET ANGELS
Santa’s Secret Angels was founded out of a deep sense of compassion and a commitment to bringing hope to families in need during the holiday season. The organization was inspired by several members of local Volunteer Fire and EMS Departments who have served Southeast Texas for a number of years. Over the years, they witnessed countless families experience devastating losses due to fires, flooding, domestic violence, substance abuse, and other crises. Determined to ensure that children in these difficult situations didn’t go without during the holidays, they began what would eventually become Santa’s Secret Angels.
In its early days, the group provided for about 25 children in Southeast Texas, supplying essentials like clothes and toiletries along with toys to brighten their Christmas morning. Local grocers soon joined the effort, donating turkeys, hams, and other food items to give families a proper holiday meal. Walmart also became a generous partner, providing bicycles for children of riding age.
What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that now partners with Family Services of Southeast Texas to bring Christmas cheer to more than 300 children and their families each year.
Santa’s Secret Angels is driven by the belief that every child deserves to feel loved and cared for, especially during the holidays. The organization invites everyone to count their blessings this season and consider making a donation to support its mission. Contributions can be made via check or through DonorBox, with all donations being 100% tax-deductible.
